How do your body contouring and lymphatic drainage courses work?
Our courses follow a structured blended-learning format, combining independent pre-study, demonstration videos, live tutor-led theory and hands-on practical training.Training takes place in stages rather than completing everything over consecutive days. This gives you time between each stage to absorb what you've learned and prepare for the next part of your training.Stage 1: Pre-Study & Online LearningOnce you've booked your course, you'll receive access to your pre-study learning materials and course manuals to work through at home.You'll also have access to demonstration videos, allowing you to watch the techniques you'll later be learning during your practical training.You must complete your online learning before progressing to your live theory training.Stage 2: Live Zoom TheoryYour next stage is a live tutor-led Zoom theory session.During your Zoom training, your tutor will go through the theory in greater detail, reinforce the knowledge from your pre-study and answer any questions you have before you progress to your practical training.This means you arrive at your practical day already understanding the theoretical foundations of the treatments you're learning, allowing your face-to-face training to concentrate much more heavily on practical technique.Stage 3: In-Person Practical TrainingOnce you've completed your Zoom theory, you'll attend your practical training at one of our training locations.You'll work hands-on with live models under trainer supervision, practising the techniques yourself and receiving guidance, feedback and corrections throughout your training.A minimum of one week is required between each stage of your training.This means there must be at least one week between receiving/starting your pre-study and attending your live Zoom theory, followed by at least another week between your Zoom theory and your in-person practical training.We use this structure deliberately so that students have sufficient time to learn, absorb and prepare rather than trying to complete an entire training programme within a couple of consecutive days.
